Who are Vincent Sheppard?
Vincent Sheppard have been at the forefront of designing and manufacturing furniture since 1992. Our market leading brand, Lloyd Loom has a fabulous collection of indoor and outdoor seating. The furniture is created using a technique where Kraft paper is twisted around a metal wire and woven into unique and individual furniture pieces.
Vincent Sheppard furniture can now be found in over fifty countries worldwide, with headquarters based in Belgium running the whole operation. Our production plants are based in Indonesia a country steeped in history for weaving.
The word craftsmanship is at the cornerstone of what we believe. We honour and preserve the tradition and history of the Lloyd Loom weaving technique. We have developed a very close collaboration with the people of Cirebon, Indonesia, known for weaving and bending rattan. This was the perfect place to establish our main production plant. Utilising the skills and knowledge of the local craftsmen can elevate the products to become pieces of art. Every piece handcrafted to perfection. Over the years we have added to our production range with natural colours and also additional durable materials.
As a company we are not only passionate about our products, but also the local environment and the welfare of our overseas work force. The company also has an ecological mindset and we are very conscious about the consumption of resources, recycling and the cleansing of waste water. In 2013 we received the FSC label by the Forest Stewardship Council which is a symbol of environmental, economic and social sustainability.
Indoor Ranges
Our indoor furniture range is designed with comfort at the forefront. we create tables, chairs, sofas, lighting and accessories in many different materials with a very distinct design style. We are known to experiment with all types of materials and combinations and create for all tastes.
Outdoor Furniture
Originally the outdoor range mainly consisted of Lloyd Loom furniture that was treated for use outdoors. Over the years the demand for great qualitative designs in a variety of all weather materials helped us to create a new range of synthetic furniture that can be left outside all year round. Comfort is our upmost priority and we are very proud to supply some of the most beautiful restaurants and hotels across the globe.
So for something a little different why not take a look at the Vincent Sheppard furniture range.

Lloyd Loom Furniture – Why we love it!
Vincent Sheppard Lloyd Loom Joe Lounge Chair |
With its reputation for comfort, strength and longevity, Lloyd Loom furniture sits in many of the finest hotels and restaurants around the world. When you invest in Lloyd Loom for your home you are buying an antique of the future.
The legendary Lloyd Loom process was invented in 1917 by the American Marshall B. Lloyd, who twisted kraft paper round a metal wire, placed the paper threads on a loom and wove them into what was to become the traditional Lloyd Loom fabric.
Lloyd Loom chairs quickly became very popular in America and in 1921; Marshall B. Lloyd sold his patent to an English manufacturer, which used Lloyd Loom in an original manner to create a collection of typical English furniture.

The Lloyd Loom weave is the up to the minute choice for dining chairs. The clean lines give a classic yet contemporary elegance, whilst the natural weave confers a relaxed mood.
Until the middle of the last century nearly every house had its comfortable Lloyd Loom chair in the bedroom and, where size allows, the bathroom. This is becoming the norm again, both at home and within the hospitality trade. What could be more welcoming and nostalgic?
Call us on 0115 9258347 or email info@kingsinteriors.com for an amazing deal or our range of Lloyd Loom furniture.

Why have Mirrors in your home...
There are so many reasons why you should have mirrors in your home. We have a beautiful range of mirrors here at Kings Interiors and thought we’d write about why we think you need one in every room of your house...
Space
For a start they are the best way of creating the illusion of space! They can really effectively amplify a room and make it feel a lot bigger than it actually is. A mirror reflects the room, making you think that a room is much bigger. A small or narrow room can benefit from hanging a wall mirror and having a mirror in the hallway or a bathroom can make a space look more open.
Light
A mirror also reflects light around a room. Any light in your room will be enhanced by mirrors that reflect it, making the room more light and airy, and the more light and airy a room, the more spacious it feels.
Hide
Another great use for a mirror is to hide any imperfections you may have on the walls of your home. It can be hard to find paintings or pictures that look right in your home and that suit your style and colour schemes. A mirror is a great alternative that can cover up any unsightly imperfections such as holes, paint scratches, discoloured paint, or finger marks.
Decorate
A large, decorative mirror in a room will immediately brighten it up and can create a lovely focal point. You can also use a mirror to update the look of a room in your home, to achieve a cohesive style or to bring interest in a space.
LookLast but not least, a key benefit of a mirror and arguably the most important one is its functional use. You use a mirror to look in it! You use one to check on yourself before you leave the house, to do your hair, and for all your other grooming rituals.
Many interior decorators and designers maintain that a mirror completes the look of a room. In our showrooms we display probably the largest selection of mirrors from each manufacturer in the UK. You can browse and buy online, or visit our amazing showrooms here in Nottingham. Call us for any help or advice on 0115 9455584 or email info@kingsinteriors.com.
