The whole manufacturing process is kept here in the UK, from wool processing, dyeing, weaving and then finished at Castleisland. Not only does Ulster produce excellent carpets, they define themselves by also manufacturing stunningly designed ranges and colour ways from their Kidderminster based design team.

Being situated on the edge of the quaint and scenic Bann River, Ulster are constantly reminded of their responsibility to the environment and to sustainability. Something they have always be very passionate about and something they do not take lightly. Ulster has a strict environment policy, covering all areas of manufacturing from waste management to carbon emissions. 96% of all post industrial waste is currently being diverted away from landfills using a Varity of different waste streams, which also includes the equestrian industry. Since 2001 Ulster have reduced carbon emissions by 52% and continue to strive to be completely carbon neutral.
